Music in Action
At Christleton Primary School we offer many opportunities to develop a love of music.Aside from the music taught as part of each year’s curriculum, we have Music 4 Life providing a years’ worth of tuition for our Year 4 class and several experienced musicians providing 1:1 or small group tutoring.Our children love to sing. This can be seen each Wednesday in our singing assembly as well as in our choir.Throughout the school calendar we provide the children with opportunities to perform such as concerts, Christmas performances and talent evenings.Our fabulous Music company, 'Amasing' also visit classes to provide music and drama lessons. We recently had them come to our school to conduct a 'Futuristic Drumming Workshop'. In addition, three of our wonderful students auditioned for Britain's Got Talent as part of the Amasing Chester Schools choir. We are very proud of them!
