Meals and drinks
How will I know what my child has had to eat each day? School lunch menus are provided to parents in advance and daily/weekly choices are available on the school website homepage. They usually follow a 3-week cycle. Two choices are provided, including a vegetarian option. Children are asked to confirm their choice with their class teacher, at registration each morning. Sometimes there will be special lunches on a "theme" such as Valentines Day or Bonfire Night. School meals should be paid for in advance using the ParentPay system.
Alternatively, you may prefer to send your child to school with a packed lunch.
The current menu can be found on the school dinners page.
How much is a school meal? A school dinner costs £3.00
Is my child entitled to free school meals? All children in KS1 including Reception are entitled to a free school meal. Other children may be entitled to a free school meal. To find out if your child is eligible for Free School Meals, please speak to the school office or see link on the Cheshire West and Chester website for further information.

Are snacks provided Morning snack is available to buy in school for children in the junior year groups (Years 3, 4, 5 & 6). This normally consists of items such as toast, bagels, fruit juice etc. Children can also bring their own healthy snack.
We are a healthy school so healthy snacks are encouraged. Chocolate bars, crisps and sweets are actively discouraged.
We would also appreciate parents being considerate to any allergies within the school such as nut and sesame. Avoiding products containing these ingredients would be appreciated.
Children in key stage one are provided with fruit / vegetables during the day.
