Context for Learning in the Autumn Term
Our current ‘Context for Learning’ in Geography is 'Why does population change?' In Geography, we will be investigating why certain parts of the world are more populated than others; exploring birth and death rates; discussing social, economic and environmental push and pull factors as well as learning about the population in Britain. Here is our Memory Jogger which identifies the key vocabulary, knowledge and skills that we will learn:
In History, we will be exploring key wars and battles between 1066 and today. We will complete in-depth studies to explore both the long arc of development and the complexity of specific aspects of wars and battles since 1066. Here is a copy of our 'Memory Jogger' to support our learning:

Trips / residential visits
In the Summer term, we have a residential trip planned to the Conway Centre. We will participate in a range of adventurous activities including: stand up paddleboarding, high and low ropes and the Via Ferrata.
